Mariner Healthcare in Palm Springs, CA seeks an Activities Assistant to support the Activities Director in delivering ongoing programs designed to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. You will assist volunteers and entertainers, conduct programs, track attendance, help develop the Activities Calendar, and ensure documentation complies with policy and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1–3 months related experience.
• Previous experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Meets all state-specific requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and using a computer.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Activity Director, volunteers, and entertainers in meeting residents' needs.
• Conduct activity programs aligned with residents' functional levels and interests.
• Complete attendance/participation records accurately and timely.
• Assist in developing the Activities Calendar and gather information for design.
• Support residents’ needs through 1:1, small group and large group activities.
• Assist with off-site activity trips when available.
