Legend Senior Living in Coppell, TX is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Coordinator to lead the Life Enrichment team and oversee the activity program, ensuring residents enjoy engaging daily activities that stimulate the mind, body and spirit. The schedule varies and may include some weekends.

You will develop monthly calendars, train staff, manage volunteers, coordinate transportation, monitor the budget, and share activity highlights in company channels while ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• 1 year of activity or event planning experience.
• Preference for experience in leading volunteers and supervising staff.
• Preference for experience with older adults.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly life enrichment calendar aligning with residents' physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Oversee service plans and interviews with residents to learn preferences and abilities.
• Train all staff participating in life enrichment programs.
• Maintain a volunteer program with training and supervision.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to outside events, including driving company bus or vehicle when needed.
• Monitor budget, equipment and supplies to ensure activity schedule can be completed.
• Capture and share photos/videos of residence activities on company-approved social media/publication platforms.
• Assist the Sales Director with planning and delivery of community events or activities.
• Design the physical layout and decorations for activities and displays.
• Review the activity program to ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
