Job summary

UVM Health - Central Vermont Medical Center seeks a Life Enrichment program assistant (LNA) to design and implement activities for Woodridge residents while delivering direct and indirect patient care under supervision. The role emphasizes collaboration with the Life Enrichment Director and Licensed Nurse.

The successful candidate will have an VT LNA license, strong computer skills (Word/Excel), and a good understanding of aging. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, on-site at Woodridge.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge and computer experience in Word, Excel and electronic MR.
• Understanding in care plan and documentation processes for long term care.
• Possess an overall knowledge and understanding of the aging process.
• An excellent communicator and works collaboratively with all team members.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an activities program for Woodridge residents (group and individual).
• Provide direct and indirect patient care for residents during Life Enrichment activities.
• Work under supervision of Life Enrichment Director and Licensed Nurse within LNA scope.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5pm.
