Job summary

Ebenezer is hiring a Life Enrichment Director for our Meadow Woods Assisted Living community in Bloomington, MN. You will develop, implement, and evaluate programming to enhance residents' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cognitive well-being, aligned with Ebenezer's core cornerstones.

You will lead activities, supervise Life Enrichment Assistants, coordinate volunteers and outings, and partner with staff to promote engaging, meaningful experiences for residents in a collaborative senior

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field.
• 2 years of assisted living or SNF programming experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Medical exam certification.
• 18+ years old and insurable under employer auto insurance.
• Complete in-house transportation curriculum and pass driving evaluation within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Develops program and activities reflective of resident interests.
• Assesses resident areas of interest and needs; designs and implements activity care plans.
• Ensures residents maintain engagement and independence through observation and evaluation.
• Plans, conducts and coordinates activities and special events.
• Leads transportation coordination for resident outings and supervises volunteers.

Associate Degree

Bachelor's Degree: Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy
