Job summary

Ebenezer in Fridley, MN, is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to join the Willows Bend senior living team. You will support the Life Enrichment Director by planning, implementing, and evaluating programs that enhance residents' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cognitive well-being.

This full-time role covers Day/Evening shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation, and involves leading events, coordinating with departments, and supporting resident outings to foster independence

Qualifications

• 5 years of previous experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with life enrichment programs and activities.
• Leads social events and activity programs.
• Conducts exercise class for residents.
• Coordinates life enrichment programs with all departments.
• Assists with special events and family functions.
• Documents as required.
• Suggests ideas to improve programming.
• Meet psychosocial needs of residents.
• Plan and execute outings outside the building.
• Encourage resident participation.
• Report changes in mood or status to staff.
• Promote independence and socialization.
