Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to plan, organize, and implement resident life enrichment and volunteer programs in an independent living, assisted living, or memory care community. The role includes transportation for events and activities as needed.

The position requires leadership of a Lifestyle team, budget management, and collaboration with administration to maintain service plans and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Gerontology, Human Services, Therapeutic Recreation, or Social Services preferred.
• Certified Activity Director preferred; experience with senior programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement activity programs aligned with Ovation’s Mission and Core Values.
• Create and distribute monthly activities calendar and newsletter for residents and families.
• Coordinate outside vendors and presenters.
• Plan events with marketing staff and prepare person-centered activity descriptions.
• Update residents’ service plans and reflect preferences in electronic health records.
• Review resident care plans quarterly for activity alignment and needs.
• Lead Lifestyle staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality programming.
• Schedule department hours, vacations, and assignments; manage discipline with HR.
• Design group activities and personalized experiences for diverse resident needs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain activity records.
