The Springs at Wilsonville is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to plan and implement meaningful activities for residents, emphasizing the Dimensions of Wellness. You will lead a cheerful, organized team passionate about enriching lives and living life to its fullest.

Responsibilities include coordinating monthly programming, communicating activities to residents and families, decorating for events, and ensuring budgets are met while maintaining certifications such as CPR and First Aid.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years designing and leading senior living activities programs.
• 3–5 years leading a team in a senior living setting.
• Valid driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience.
• Background check and drug screening required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly programming for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents and families.
• Inform residents of daily activities via print and digital signage.
• Coordinate decorations for events and seasonal changes throughout the community.
• Supervise Life Enrichment team members and oversee transportation for appointments and outings.
• Assist with department budgeting and monitor monthly expenses to meet budget.

Job Description

The Springs at Wilsonville is looking for a cheerful, optimistic, organized, and motivated individual who loves to enrich the lives of seniors. This position is specifically responsible for planning and implementing meaningful activities for our residents, with an emphasis on all the Dimensions of Wellness. The Life Enrichment Director is essential to the satisfaction of our residents and our mission of helping people Live Life to it's Fullest.

Your Responsibilities Would Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Leading the preparation and delivery of monthly programming both in person and via email communication to our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents and their families.
• Informing residents of daily activities through various mechanisms including print and digital signage.
• Planning, coordinating and assisting with tasteful decoration throughout the community for special events, seasonal changes, and holidays.
• Consulting with and supervising the Life Enrichment team members.
• Coordinating and overseeing transportation needs related to medical appointments, adventure trips, resident outings, etc.
• Driving community vehicles safely to and from destinations.
• Assisting with the development of departmental budget and monitoring monthly expenses to ensure compliance with monthly budget.
• Maintaining professional certifications including but not limited to: CPR, First Aid, Infection Control, etc.

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years of related previous experience in a senior living community including designing and facilitating all aspects of a comprehensive program.
• Must have 3-5 years of demonstrated experience leading a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license for at least 5 years and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening at time of hire.
