Job summary

Park Place Senior Living at Winghaven in O'Fallon, MO, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan and implement a seven-day activity calendar for residents in independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation or related field; certification as an Activity Professional preferred, and about two years of activities management experience.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field (Certification as an Activity Professional preferred).
• Two years activities management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and implements activities for a seven-day week calendar.
• Identifies the special needs of each resident and creates a plan to accommodate those needs.
• Involves the resident in planning recreation objectives and goals for the resident.
• Incorporates residents with the community through facility activities and outings.
• Creates a strong positive image and establishes good relationships within the community.
