Eligible candidates should have 1–2+ years with seniors, Activity Director Certification, and excellent communication skills. Evening/weekend availability is required occasionally.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years experience working with the senior population preferred; 3+ years activity engagement preferred.
• Activity Director Certification required.
• Ability to communicate with residents, families, vendors with joy and professionalism.
• Ability to use basic technology systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a variety of recreational activities and therapeutic engagement opportunities.
• Lead group and one-on-one activity programs.
• Escort residents to activities and assist with transportation.
• Maintain activity calendars, newsletters, and digital displays.
• Document assessments and progress notes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Attend care plans and department meetings; participate in training.
• Support volunteer engagement and department training.
