Job summary

MorningStar of Billings is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our on-site team. This full-time role pays $17 per hour and operates Tuesday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm, serving our residents with engaging activity programs in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include developing and leading activities, coordinating with the Life Enrichment Coordinator, and ensuring calendars reflect residents’ interests. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a valid driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to organize and lead activities for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing resident activity programs.
• Conduct activities per Life Enrichment Coordinator guidance.
• Coordinate group activities, 1-1 visits, and community events.
• Organize activity supplies and monthly calendars.
• Coordinate activities with other departments.
• Communicate residents’ programs to residents, families, volunteers, and staff.
• Prepare monthly Life Enrichment calendars reflecting residents’ interests and abilities.
• Supervise volunteers as necessary.
