Cedarhurst Senior Living in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and deliver engaging activities that support residents’ health, happiness, and social connection. You will work with residents, families, and staff to tailor programming to interests and life stories, promoting purpose and joy in daily living.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, planning activities, maintaining Life Stories, and communicating with families; a willingness to drive the community

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• License to drive community bus or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health records or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and lead community activities, programs and events.
• Introduce new residents and families to life enrichment offerings.
• Coordinate holiday decorations and reflect resident interests in programming.
• Contribute to Life Stories and resident assessments where applicable.
• Maintain attendance records and family messages in Cedarhurst systems.
• Attend virtual education meetings and drive the community bus as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents' families about care and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with staff and management, resolving conflicts and supporting teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
