Job summary

HarborChase, LLC. is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Director of Life Enrichment in planning and running activities for residents.

You will help create monthly calendars, encourage participation, and assist with outings while ensuring safety and dignity. Qualifications include a high school diploma, experience in social or recreational programs in licensed healthcare settings, and knowledge of dementia.

Qualifications

• Ability to support activities and engage seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DLE with planning, coordinating and running community activities.
• Help plan monthly activity calendars and newsletters when needed.
• Encourage resident participation and support independence.
• Assist with ordering supplies for activities.
• Possibly accompany residents on off-site outings and ensure safety and meaningful experiences.
