Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and implement activity programs that meet the physical, mental and psychosocial needs and interests of residents.

The role requires regular attendance, basic computer skills, and ability to work beyond standard hours when needed. You will document activities per state and federal regulations, contribute to the plan of care (MDS) and assessments, coordinate volunteers, deliver community information, plan staff functions to boost

Qualifications

• Regular worksite attendance.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• If required, ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours, including weekends/holidays when necessary.
• Must be able to assist in evacuation of residents during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities to meet residents' physical, mental and psychosocial needs.
• Maintain documentation as required by State and Federal regulations.
• Input on MDS and participate in plan of care and updates; deliver mail/newsletters.
• Coordinate recruitment and involvement of volunteers with residents.
• Coordinate community involvement and plan staff functions to boost morale.
• Monitor compliance to regulations including safety, infection control, and hazardous materials.
