Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours including weekends/holidays.
• Must be able to assist in evacuation of residents when needed.
• Must be able to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities to meet residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.
• Comply with the Community’s policies and procedures.
• Report alleged resident abuse/neglect immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Deliver residents' mail, newsletters, and Community information.
• Coordinate volunteers and community involvement with residents.
• Plan staff functions to increase staff morale.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations (infection control, safety).
• Assist restorative programs to enhance residents’ well-being.
