Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a dedicated Chauffeur to provide transportation support for residents at our Omaha residence. You will operate vehicles, assist residents in and out, and ensure safety during all transports.

The role requires one year of driving experience, a current driver's license, and a clean driving record. A CNA license is preferred, and ongoing training will be provided.

Qualifications

• One year of prior experience in commercial driving or large vehicle operation.
• Prefer prior experience in passenger transportation.

Responsibilities

• Operates the car, van, or bus at the residence.
• Provides transportation for residents to appointments, shopping trips, and other locations as directed.
• Assists residents on/off the vehicle and with belongings.
• Ensures wheelchairs are properly secured in the vehicle.
• Complies with state passenger and equipment safety regulations.
• Maintains appearance and operating condition of residence vehicles.
• Coordinates appointment schedules with nursing/health staff.
• Maintains certifications and participates in trainings.

Job Details

Job Location: Omaha, NE 68124, Position Type: Full Time, Job Shift: Day Shift, Chauffeur Provides transportation support for the residence to include transporting residents for scheduled community activities, chauffeur services to assist individual residents, and delivery and pick up support for the community.

Essential Duties

• Operates the car or van/bus that is located at the residence.
• Provides transportation for residents to various appointments, shopping trips, and other locations as directed.
• Assists residents on/off the van/bus or in/out of the car along with their belongings.
• Ensure all residents using wheelchairs are properly secured in the van/bus.
• Complies with state regulations regarding passenger and equipment safety.
• Responsible for maintaining the appearance and operating condition of all residence vehicles.
• Coordinates the appointment schedule for medical appointments with the Director of Nursing/Health and Wellness Director/Coordinator
• Will keep certification current and participate in continuing education to include staff meetings, in-services and web-based trainings.

Prefer prior experience in AL, IL or SNF. Require one year of prior experience in commercial driving or large vehicle operation. Prefer prior experience in passenger transportation.

Education
