*Starting pay is $18 / hour!
*This is a part-time position working every other Saturday, 11am-7:30pm!

The Life Enrichment Assistant / Activities Assistant will engage residents in daily programming and entertainment. They assist the Director in creating activities tailored to meet the individualized needs of residents. Familiarity with Alzheimer's/Dementia and a willingness to work with the elderly population are essential for this role.

The Life Enrichment Assistant / Activities Assistant will:

• Create and develop programs that meet the individualized needs of residents.
• Collaborate with other Life Enrichment Assistants to develop a monthly calendar aligned with Artis standards and resident interests.
• Use the Partnership Profile to develop appropriate programs for residents.
• Use the associate Partnership Profile to involve staff in programs and enhance the monthly calendar.
• Demonstrate the company philosophy of Positive Partnerships the ARTIS Way.
• Ensure ARTIS-specific programs (e.g., Time to Dish, Town Halls, I CAN program, I’m AlWrite) are held as scheduled.
• Coordinate with outside agencies to develop programs that enhance resident experience.
• Plan trips for residents that meet their individual needs and are suitable for those with memory loss.
• Provide the Director of Life Enrichment with information on resident engagement to assist in developing personalized care plans.
• Maintain communication with family members regarding resident participation in programs.
• Support and oversee an effective volunteer program through screening, orientation, training, supervision, and evaluation.

Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
