Job description

Life Enrichment Assistant:

Under the general direction of the Life Enrichment Director, the primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, enriching the lives of our residents through various activities and programs.

Primary Responsibilities for Life Enrichment Assistant:

1. Ensure the highest quality of customer service for residents.
2. Engage in prospective resident visits.
3. Conduct welcome orientations for new residents.
4. Plan monthly programs based on the Whole Person Wellness Model, incorporating at least 2 of the 6 experiences: Intellectual, Social, Emotional, Vocational, and Spiritual.
5. Utilize iPads and photography to enrich residents' lives and create content for community TVs and Facebook.
6. Proficiency with software applications used by American House for Life Enrichment activities.
7. Schedule weekend activities and be available to work weekends and during special events.
8. Represent American House professionally at all community events.
9. Must be able to drive a 14-passenger bus to provide transportation for group events and personal appointments.
10. Update seasonal and holiday decorations throughout the building.
11. Oversee the volunteer program.
12. Notify the Life Enrichment Director of emergency situations.
13. Report directly to the Life Enrichment Director.
