Job summary

Danbury Senior Living in Mount Vernon, Ohio, is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in planning and delivering resident activities.

Activities span recreation, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, including exercise classes, arts and crafts, music, group outings, trivia and bingo. Experience in a senior living activities department helps, but patience, compassion, and love for seniors are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior living activities / life enrichment department is helpful, but not required.
• It is essential that our Life Enrichment Assistants are patient, compassionate, and caring.
• A great outlook, cheerful disposition, and love of seniors are a must.

Responsibilities

• Our Life Enrichment Assistants help the Life Enrichment Director in planning and implementing resident activities. These activities are recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs.
• Some examples are: exercise classes, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, group outings, trivia and bingo, brain games, church services, and much more!
