The Crestmoor at Green Hills seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant to design and lead engaging activities for residents, promoting an active lifestyle and social interaction.

You will collaborate with staff, coordinate events, and help prepare calendars and newsletters while maintaining a positive, customer-service oriented environment. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of prior activities experience with seniors.
• Compliance with state requirements for Assisted Living.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record per internal/insurer requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
• Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing activities for residents.
• Involve residents in activities on- and off-site to foster social connections.
• Prepare supplies for each activity and event.
• Respond to residents, families, and visitors with courtesy.
• Help develop monthly calendars and newsletters and take photos.
• Coordinate community resources and external entertainers.
• Be an active member of the emergency response team.
• Maintain professional appearance per company policies.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

Location: The Crestmoor at Green Hills. an Independent and Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.

Full-Time:

Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Availability for special events on other days/shifts is preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in developing and implementing activities and events that promote an active lifestyle for residents.
• Actively involve residents in activities both on and off-site, encouraging their participation and fostering social connections.
• Ensure all necessary supplies are prepared and ready for each activity and event.
• Respond to the needs of residents, families, and visitors with immediate and courteous assistance.
• Help the Director develop monthly calendars and newsletters and take pictures for inclusion in newsletters and social media.
• Assist in coordinating community resources and external entertainers to enhance resident experiences.
• Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene in line with company policies.
• Assist with special projects or tasks as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of prior activities experience with seniors.
• Compliance with state requirements for Assisted Living.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record in line with internal and insurance carrier requirements.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and some Excel.
