Job summary

WellBridge of Clarkston in Michigan is seeking an Activities Aide to deliver and lead daily life enrichment programs, promoting health and well-being for our guests. If you enjoy games and crafts, this role may be for you.

You will support group and individual activities, encourage attendance and transport, and help create themed decorations. Requirements include 1+ year in long term care preferred, associates in music or recreational therapy preferred, and a strong commitment to excellent

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related experience in long term care preferred.
• Associates in Music or Recreational Therapy is preferred (not required).
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families and visitors.
• Assist and lead group and one-on-one life enrichment programs.
• Encourage attendance and transport to and from life enrichment programs.
• Evaluate patients according to background, interests, abilities and needs for meaningful programs.
• Develop and display thematic and holiday decorations throughout the facility.
