Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging activities for residents, coordinating with outside organizations and managing calendar development and budgeting.

You will transport residents using a company vehicle, ensure activities meet resident needs, and uphold safety standards. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a valid driver’s license are required; evenings and weekends may be needed.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license is required.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Prefer: experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, or demonstrated creative skills.
• Standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Oversee specific life enrichment components as assigned (e.g., memory care, specific activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to and from outside events, driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
