Legend Senior Living® in Palm Harbor, FL is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to plan and execute engaging activities for residents. You will help develop calendars, coordinate with outside organizations, and ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license, a willingness to transport residents, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This role may require evenings and weekends, with opportunities for growth and a discretionary scholarship

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors, event planning, or lesson planning preferred.
• Stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents.
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component as assigned.
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events, including driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
