Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Malvern is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Coordinator to lead the monthly activity program and ensure residents enjoy a variety of engaging daily activities that stimulate mind, body and spirit. The schedule varies by location and may include some weekends.

You will train staff and volunteers, coordinate events and transportation, monitor the budget, and ensure programs comply with regulations.

Qualifications

Required: 1 year of activity or event planning experience.
Prefer: experience leading volunteers and supervising staff.
Prefer: experience working with older adults.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Developing the monthly life enrichment calendar to meet residents' physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Overseeing service plans and interviewing residents to understand preferences and abilities.
Training staff participating in life enrichment programs.
Maintaining and supervising a volunteer program.
Coordinating transportation for residents to events, including driving company vehicle when needed.
Monitoring budget, equipment, and supplies for the activity schedule.
Capturing and sharing photos/videos of activities on company platforms.
Assisting Sales Director with planning and delivery of community events.
Designing layouts and decorations for activities and displays.
Reviewing programs to meet regulations and guidelines.
