Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging resident activities. You will contribute to a vibrant program by coordinating calendars, budgets, and outreach with outside organizations, while ensuring activities align with residents' preferences and needs.

The role involves assisting with diverse life enrichment components, transporting residents, and collaborating with staff to deliver holistic care in a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license is required.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning or demonstrated creativity is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs during shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, and coordinating with outside organizations.
• Help ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Oversee a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care or activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to outside events and drive company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
