Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to join the Life Enrichment team. You will plan and execute engaging activities, improving residents' lives and well-being while coordinating with staff and external partners.

Ideal candidates are organized, people-focused, and capable of driving residents to events in company vehicles. This role may require evenings and weekends to meet residents’ needs.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license is required.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, or demonstrated creative skills is preferred.
• Stand/walk/bend/push/pull and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup.
• Help ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents.
• May oversee a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity) as assigned.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to outside events, including driving the company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements--

Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

• Required: Current, valid driver’s license
• Required: Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements

• Prefer: Experience working with one or more of the following: seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.
