Legend Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging activities for residents. You will support a holistic program focused on meaningful engagement and social interaction in a community setting.

The role involves coordinating events, budgeting, and transporting residents as needed, while upholding safety and company standards. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning or demonstrated creativity.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents.
• Oversee a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care or specific activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to outside events and drive company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff; adhere to policies and safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Required: Current, valid driver’s license
• Required: Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
• Prefer: Experience working with one or more of the following: seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.

Legend Senior Living is a drug free workplace and drug screening will be conducted at the company’s discretion. This position may require the associate to work evenings and weekends as needed. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
