Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Norman, OK is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging activities that enrich residents' daily lives. You will assist with calendar development, coordinate with outside organizations, manage setup and cleanup, and help tailor programs to residents' needs and preferences.

A valid driver's license and comfortable driving residents in company vehicles are required.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver's license is required.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with one or more of: seniors, event planning, lesson planning, and demonstrated creative skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs during shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Help ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• May oversee a specific life enrichment component (e.g., Memory Care, a specific activity) as assigned.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to and from outside events, including driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
