Legend Senior Living® in Malvern, PA, seeks a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging activities that enhance residents’ daily living and well‑being. You will create programs that engage mind, body and social connection in a compassionate, resident‑centered environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating events, calendars and budgets; arranging transportation when needed; collaborating with care staff to tailor activities to individual preferences; and ensuring

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, and creative skills preferred.
• Lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and implementing resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup.
• Help ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents.
• Oversee a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care, specific activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to and from outside events, driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

• Required: Current, valid driver’s license
• Required: Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
• Prefer: Experience working with one or more of the following: seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.

Legend Senior Living is a drug free workplace and drug screening will be conducted at the company’s discretion. This position may require the associate to work evenings and weekends as needed.
