Legend Senior Living® in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging activities for residents. You will help develop calendars, coordinate with external organizations, and ensure events meet resident needs and preferences.

The role requires current, valid driver’s license, willingness to transport residents, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior experience with seniors and event planning is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license is required.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Prefer experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, and demonstrated creativity.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents.
• Oversight of a life enrichment component (e.g., Memory Care) as assigned.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to/from events, including driving company vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities.

Responsibilities--

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements
