Legend Senior Living in Riverton, New Jersey, is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to enhance residents' lives through engaging activities and programs.

You will plan, coordinate, and lead activities, manage calendars and budgets, coordinate transportation, and work closely with residents and staff to deliver holistic wellness and vibrant enrichment.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver's license required.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Prefer: Experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, creative skills.
• Stand/walk/bend/push/pull and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Coordinate with outside organizations to meet resident needs.
• Oversee a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., memory care, specific activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to and from outside events, driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities.

Responsibilities

Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed

Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

• Required: Current, valid driver’s license

• Prefer: Experience working with one or more of the following: seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.
