Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Cook to join our health-minded team in a fast-paced café environment.

You will produce menu items according to recipes and follow food safety guidelines, helping to deliver industry-leading healthy options to our members. Responsibilities include stocking and cleaning the Bistro, managing food production flow with sandwich and salad stations, and ensuring consistency and quality by following recipes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs repetitively.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the cafe for extended periods.
• ServSafe certification within the first 90 days of hire.
• CPR/AED certification within the first 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to daily needs for the Bistro, including stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring kitchen safety.
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, cleaning equipment, and washing dishes.
• Manages the flow of food production with the sandwich and salad stations.
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Adheres to the daily needs for the Bistro, including, but not limited to, stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety of kitchen
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness, including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchen equipment, and washing dishes
• Manages the flow of food production in conjunction with the sandwich and salad stations
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness, and quality of ingredients while preparing food

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in restaurant with fast casual or full service experience

Experience prepping recipes
