Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Life, Absence & Disability Consultant to support employers with absence programs including LTD, STD, Life and AD&D, and leave solutions. This hybrid role requires three office days weekly in the US.

You will negotiate with carriers and vendors to secure plan coverage and administration services for clients. You will contribute to strategy, renewal, benchmarking, and pricing discussions, leveraging Marsh's scale to secure competitive coverage and services for organizations and

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Life/Absence/Disability insurance or consulting.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, strategic planning, communication, and listening skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interface with multiple clients daily and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on client engagements, supporting service delivery, plan design, renewal and benchmarking.
• Interpret and present benchmark data to clients and ensure changes reflect strategy.
• Negotiate coverage options with carriers and vendors to optimize client programs.
• Support financial analyses and data analytics with actuaries for funding scenarios.
