Job summary

Wilshire Law Firm in Torrance is seeking a Liens Negotiator to manage liens in personal injury cases and negotiate with medical providers to maximize client settlements.

You will coordinate with government and private insurers, hospitals, and doctors, maintain accurate case data, and support a collaborative team dedicated to excellence and justice. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience negotiating liens for personal injury cases.
• Strong knowledge of medical treatment and medical provider types.
• Proactive and detail oriented.
• Superior communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with governmental insurance (Medi-Cal, Medicare, Medicaid, VA, etc.) and private insurance carriers.
• Negotiate liens with hospitals and healthcare providers on behalf of our clients.
• Effectively communicate with doctor’s offices, co-workers, and clients alike.
• Update the firm’s database in a timely manner with accurate data.
• Upload and share pertinent documents appropriately.
• Build strong rapport with potential clients.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Liens Negotiator (Torrance)

The Opportunity

As our Liens Negotiator in our Liens department, you will have the opportunity to manage legal cases in the liens stage and negotiate with medical providers to provide the best outcome for our clients’ settlements.

Accountable for

• Communicate with both governmental insurance (Medi-Cal, Medicare, Medicaid, VA, etc.) and private insurance carriers.
• Negotiate liens with hospitals and healthcare providers on behalf of our clients.
• Effectively communicate with doctor’s offices, co-workers, and clients alike.
• Update the firm’s database in a timely manner with accurate data.
• Upload and share pertinent documents appropriately.
• Build strong rapport with potential clients.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and experience with Office 365.
• Proactive and detail oriented.
• Superior communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Compensation

• $33 - $40 per hour depending on experience
