Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club in Surfside, Florida, is seeking a Server Assistant to support the Food Server in delivering a polished dining experience.

You will promptly clear and reset tables, anticipate guest needs, check orders for accuracy, and stock side stations. Prior luxury hospitality experience and the ability to carry a tray are required. Full-time schedule includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays; U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-years food service or related work.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Previous experience in luxury hospitality

Responsibilities

• Promptly clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silverware for service in a discreet manner.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Pick up food items from kitchen, check order for accuracy and quality before delivering and serve guest.
• Stock side stations with linens, china, glass, silverware, and paper goods for service; fill salt, pepper shakers, replenish sugars, prepare bread service, breakdown, clean and set-up side stations and back of house areas.

About the role:

The Server Assistant position assists the Food Server in providing an expertly served dining experience conforming by clearing and resetting tables according to standards.

What you will do:

• Promptly clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silverware for service in a discreet manner.
