Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a geospatial professional to process LiDAR and imagery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards. You will classify point clouds and compile mapping features for aerial and GIS deliverables.

The role offers opportunities to work on nationwide projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and advance technical skills in leading geospatial tools and workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience applying geospatial data processing to real-world projects.
• Experience with LiDAR point clouds and orthophotography is a plus.
• Ability to learn and adapt to industry standards and project requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily processing of geospatial data and evaluation of accuracy against standards.
• Classification of LiDAR point clouds and extraction of mapping features.
• Compilation of features from LiDAR and imagery for deliverables.
• Support other duties as assigned.
