Job summary

The State of South Carolina is seeking a Titling & Licensing Specialist (Temporary) to handle driver licenses, registrations and IDs at DMV offices across the Upstate region. Responsibilities include processing documents, editing customer details, and supporting business customers such as banks and dealerships while ensuring compliance with SC DMV policies.

Knowledge of the Phoenix System and related hardware is required; a high school diploma or equivalent plus clerical experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus clerical experience.
• Ability to retain knowledge of DMV policies and procedures.
• Able to pass New Employee Training and to work with the Phoenix System.

Responsibilities

• Examines, accepts, prepares, enters and prints documents for licenses, permits and vehicle registrations.
• Manages licensing, insurance issues for banks, lienholders, dealerships.
• Processes motor vehicle registrations and verifies suspension inquiries.
