Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus clerical experience.
• Must complete CDL test examiner trainer course and examination.
• Must complete nationwide criminal background check including fingerprints.
• Familiarity with Phoenix System and related hardware.

Responsibilities

• Examine, accept, prepare, enter and print documents for drivers' licenses, permits, IDs, registrations and titles across classes and scenarios.
• Assist business customers (banks, lienholders, dealerships) with licensing and insurance issues.
• Process motor vehicle registration requests and verify eligibility according to SC laws.
• Administer knowledge tests for CDL licensing.
• Verify eye screenings and review applications for fraud and license restrictions.
• Answer customer inquiries and guide them to appropriate areas.
• Operate camera system and SCDMV software to issue credentials.
• Handle payments and prepare daily reports; reconcile funds and process receipts.
• Maintain clean, stocked work area and resolve customer problems via records.
