What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and input application information into the agency database, conducting needs assessments and issuing deficiency notices as needed
- Assist clients with questions regarding licensure and certification requirements, testing, and fees
- Provide technical assistance and direction based on research and analysis of program rules and regulations
- Gather information from various sources to ensure all licensing requirements are met before issuing credentials
- Participate in process improvement projects to enhance client experience and compile reports related to customer service surveys
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data entry, customer support, licensing, or a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Google Suite and Workspace
- Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to resolve complex technical issues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a government or regulatory agency environment
- Familiarity with the Nurse Practice Act and agency policies and procedures
- Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and negotiation
