Job Title: Licensing and Strategic Sales Partner – Commission Only (Science & Tech)

About DEFY Tech:

DEFY Tech is a science-first innovation company developing proprietary encapsulation technologies for use in repellents, consumer products, and industrial applications. We're seeking experienced, self-driven sales professionals to bring in licensing deals for our patented formulations. This is a commission-only role—ideal for independent salespeople with proven success in science or technology sectors.

What You'll Do:

  • Identify and close licensing opportunities across science and technology-driven industries
  • Share your sales strategy and prospect lists with DEFY Tech leadership to avoid duplicate outreach
  • Submit bi-weekly updates on progress, pipeline status, and deal flow
  • Use only approved DEFY Tech marketing materials and brand assets
  • Sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Non-Compete Agreement before starting
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with our team during deal development

Who You Are:

  • Independent, proactive, and motivated by results
  • Comfortable managing your own sales pipeline and working without daily oversight
  • Professional and well-versed in B2B sales processes

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a science-related sales role (e.g., biotech, pharmaceuticals, cosmetic chemistry, chemical distribution)
  • Proven ability to source and close licensing or formulation deals
  • Experience in regulated markets and technical product positioning is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to travel for work if required

Compensation:

This is a commission-only opportunity. Discussions around compensation structure will take place during the interview process.
