Job summary

The Seminole County Tax Collector is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to handle clerical duties for vehicle registration and titling, taxes, licenses, and related services. The role requires data entry, money handling, and adherence to balancing procedures under supervision.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, at least one year of cashiering or customer service experience, and a valid Florida driver’s license; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 1+ year cashiering or customer service experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Pre-employment skills test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive payments for vehicle/titles, taxes, licenses, and fees.
• Assist the public with forms for Florida titles, registrations, and licenses.
• Verify documents, perform data entry, and handle money with balancing procedures.
• Process driver licenses, ID cards, and other state documents.
• Support business tax receipts and other local tax processes.
