Job summary

The Seminole County Tax Collector is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to perform clerical duties in processing vehicle registrations and titling, tax payments, driver licenses, and related services. The role requires data entry, money handling, and adherence to balancing procedures under supervision.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of cashiering or customer service experience, and the ability to communicate in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year cashiering or customer service experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• A pre-employment skills test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive payments for tags, titles, and licenses and balance daily cash.
• Review proof of ownership, insurance, and issue appropriate licenses or decals.
• Assist the public in completing Florida title applications and forms.
• Verify identity, residency, and required documentation for applications.
• Operate computer systems to issue driver licenses and IDs; input data accurately.
• Process and post property tax and business tax payments; provide information as needed.
