Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in business license processing or a closely related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to supervise and train staff.
• Proficiency in city policies, procedures, codes, ordinances and applicable laws.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare monthly reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Business License section, including renewals and online transactions.
• Supervise staff; instruct, assign, plan, review, and evaluate performance.
• Respond to and resolve difficult customer inquiries and complaints; ensure public assistance with applications.
• Coordinate preparation of monthly reports and maintain records; ensure compliance with ordinances.
