Hayes Locums is hiring a Licensing Specialist to support physician and APP placements nationwide. You will manage the licensing process, liaise with boards, and help ensure timely licensure and onboarding for providers.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, organization, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment, with a base schedule and remote day option after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Health Administration, Healthcare Management, Business, or related field.
• Associate degree plus relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor's.
• 2+ years in administrative, licensing, credentialing, healthcare operations, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between providers, boards, and internal staff for licensing.
• Assess state licensing requirements and facilitate timely applications.
• Conduct research and primary source verification of practitioner info.
• Maintain ongoing communication on status and progress
• Coordinate with operations, credentialing, and medical staff teams to meet timelines
• Collaborate with boards and agencies to resolve delays and support licensure
• Monitor status and follow up on outstanding requirements
• Ensure licensure is obtained before start dates
• Maintain records and ensure confidentiality per policies
