Publix Super Markets is seeking a Licensing Specialist to coordinate, obtain, and maintain business licenses for all Publix locations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

The role includes researching licenses, renewals, and permits, communicating with store management and regulatory bodies, and managing license-related projects with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, Legal, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• 3 years’ experience in an analytical field.
• Knowledge of licensing research methods, including internet research and contacting regulatory agencies.
• Ability to handle high volume of licensing tasks with accuracy.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to coordinate license renewals with others.
• Professionalism and discretion with confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Researching and obtaining business licenses, permits and registrations for Publix locations
• Maintaining and renewing expiring licenses, permits and registrations
• Communicating with store management, state and local governments and law enforcement
• Project managing licensing tasks and providing status updates to management
• Performing additional licensing tasks to ensure regulatory compliance

Education

Associate’s degree in Business, Legal, Finance, Accounting or equivalent

3 years’ experience in an analytical field
