Job summary

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is seeking a motivated Licensing Analyst 1 for the Eastern Regional Office to conduct regulatory reviews for licensing actions, inspect premises, and support decision making on license transfers, renewals, and ownership changes.

Responsibilities include interviews, financial reviews, regulation research, and background checks, with travel required and telework options from a Pennsylvania location.

Qualifications

• Two years of technical inspection experience.
• Two years of experience reviewing financial documents to determine the origin of funds.
• An associate's degree.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements within three months of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site reviews of licensed or proposed premises to ensure standards.
• Meet with applicants and related parties to gather information for license decisions.
• Examine statements, funds, and financial records to verify sources and compliance.
• Check local rules, property records, and deeds to confirm ownership and use comply with law.
• Review bylaws, minutes, and certificates to confirm partnerships or entities meet requirements.
• Investigate criminal histories of applicants and related individuals to support eligibility.
