Job summary

The Licensing Analyst 1/2/3 role is with the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners in the Licensure Division. The primary duties involve processing licenses and renewals, reviewing Practice Acts, Rules and Regulations, and State Statutes that regulate licensure for medical and allied health practitioners.

You will learn the licensure process, interact with applicants and licensees via phone, email, or in person, and conduct investigations and data reviews to determine eligibility and

Qualifications

• Three years of licensing experience or six years of general full-time work experience with a degree.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience substituting 30 semester hours for one year of experience allowed, up to 120 semester hours.

Responsibilities

• Process licenses and renewals; review acts, rules, and statutes governing licensure.
• Interact with licensees, applicants, and professionals via phone, email, or in person.
• Verify diplomas and licenses for authenticity and eligibility.
• Conduct investigations and coordinate interviews with Board members.
• Prepare and analyze security clearance data and official reports.
