Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Logistics & Land Management Administrator to support management of company‑owned land and submerged land assets, requiring strong ArcGIS capability and regulatory interpretation for coordination with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities include updating licenses and permits, managing records, applying GIS tools, and ensuring NEPA compliance while delivering excellent service to clients and applicants.

Qualifications

  • ArcGIS proficiency for reference, mapping, and land‑use analysis.
  • Experience handling licenses, permits, leases, and ROW documentation.
  • Knowledge of ROW management and land‑use regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Update, maintain, and customize databases for licenses, permits, leases, and agreements.
  • Query databases, generate renewal notices, and follow up with customers.
  • Monitor tracking spreadsheets for as‑built data and ensure documentation is received.
  • Assist in processing license requests, marine permits, dredged material agreements, renewals, and amendments.
  • Perform data entry and maintain quality control for documentation, invoicing, and records.
  • Prepare project files and execute Records & Information Management procedures.
  • Apply GIS tools and internal/external databases to research submerged land use and pipeline locations.
  • Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local laws affecting submerged land and permitting.
  • Provide customer service to internal teams, external clients, and applicants through meetings and correspondence.

Job description

The Logistics & Land Management Administrator provides administrative, database, and project control support for the management of company‑owned land and submerged land assets. This includes pipeline licenses, marine construction permits, submerged land leases, and dredged material placement agreements. The role requires strong ArcGIS capability, database management expertise, and the ability to interpret land‑use regulations while serving as a liaison with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.

Priority Skills:

  • ArcGIS expertise (mandatory) – hands‑on experience using ArcGIS to reference, map, and analyze pipeline and land‑use information.
  • Pipeline experience (highly preferred) – ability to identify and interpret pipeline locations, crossings, and ownership.
  • Right‑of‑Way (ROW) experience (preferred) – familiarity with surveying, easements, and land‑use rights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Update, maintain, and customize databases used to manage licenses, permits, leases, and agreements.

  • Prepare project files and execute Records & Information Management procedures.
  • Apply GIS tools and internal/external databases to research submerged land use, ownership issues, and pipeline locations.
  • Maintain working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws affecting submerged land, industrial property use, riparian rights, NEPA, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide customer service to internal teams, external clients, and applicants through meetings, correspondence, and documentation support.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Proficiency with ArcGIS and GIS‑based land/pipeline analysis.
  • Experience with License Permit Systems, SharePoint, Kronos, and JD Edwards.
  • Knowledge of database management principles.
  • Understanding of laws, regulations, and policies related to submerged land, industrial property use, riparian rights, NEPA, and permitting.
  • Familiarity with dredging processes and dredged material placement.
  • Knowledge of surveying methods and Right‑of‑Way management.
  • Basic budgeting and accounting principles.
  • Strong organizational, research, analytical, proofing, and document‑editing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education & Experience

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Land Management/Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in database, real estate, or land management or 4+ years of administrative support experience.
