Job summary

Resolve Tech Solutions is seeking a Contract Land Analyst to support the Land Management team by maintaining the integrity of pipeline land records and GIS parcel data. The role will review, validate, and update land documentation to ensure agreements are correctly linked to the appropriate GIS parcels within enterprise land management systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting pipeline land records administration.
  • Experience interpreting plats, alignment sheets, and survey maps.
  • Strong understanding of land agreements including easements, deeds, permits.
  • Experience linking land agreements to GIS parcel data in a land management system.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Review pipeline alignment maps to identify assets, surface ownership, and grantor information.
  • Organize and maintain land documentation consistent with maps.
  • Link land agreements to the appropriate GIS parcels in land management systems.
  • Review and verify land record information including grantor/grantee, recording information, and descriptions.
  • Audit and update land records for accuracy.
  • Use alignment sheets, plats, legal descriptions, and GIS data to identify correct parcels.
  • Support ongoing land records management initiatives.

Job description

We are seeking a Contract Land Analyst to support the Land Management team by maintaining the integrity of pipeline land records and associated GIS parcel data. This role is responsible for reviewing, validating, and updating land documentation while ensuring agreements are accurately linked to the appropriate GIS parcels within enterprise land management systems.

The ideal candidate has experience working with pipeline land records, legal descriptions, alignment sheets, and GIS mapping, with proven experience connecting land agreements to the correct spatial parcel data. Experience with Quorum On Demand Land (ODL) is beneficial but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review pipeline alignment maps to accurately identify pipeline assets, surface ownership, and grantor information.
  • Organize, categorize, and maintain land documentation consistent with alignment maps and supporting records.
  • Link land agreements and supporting documentation to the appropriate GIS parcel(s) within enterprise land management systems.
  • Review and verify land record information, including:
  • Grantor/Grantee information
  • Recording information
  • Property descriptions
  • Audit and update land records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilize alignment sheets, plats, legal descriptions, GIS mapping, and other supporting documentation to identify and validate the correct parcels when standard documentation is unavailable.
  • Support ongoing land records management and other Land Department initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience supporting pipeline land records administration and documentation.
  • Experience interpreting:
  • Plats
  • Alignment sheets
  • Survey maps
  • Strong understanding of land agreements, including easements, deeds, permits, assignments, and ordinances.
  • Basic land title experience.
  • Experience linking land agreements and supporting documents to the appropriate GIS parcel(s) within a land management system or GIS environment.
  • Experience using Google Earth and ESRI GIS products (or similar GIS software).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Quorum On Demand Land (ODL) or other enterprise land management systems.
  • Experience migrating land records into Quorum or comparable land management platforms.
  • Experience supporting pipeline, midstream, utility, or other infrastructure organizations.

  • Contract Duration: Approximately 2 years
  • Schedule: 100% onsite (no hybrid or remote)
