Job summary

The Bethany Center For Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our geriatric-focused team. You will assess and treat residents, initiate therapies, maintain records, operate equipment, and participate in IDT meetings to advance patient care.

The role requires an RRT or CRT license, BLS certification, and the ability to work a weekend schedule (Saturday and Sunday) with 4–6 hour shifts, up to 8 hours depending on caseload.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program with licensure as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state of practice; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and document daily, weekly and monthly activity.
• Attend IDT meetings and participate in quarterly in-services for nursing staff.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care settings; follow facility policies.
