Job summary

Weston & Sampson Services is seeking a licensed Drinking Water Operator for a position in Southern New Hampshire. The role focuses on operating and maintaining municipal and private drinking water treatment and distribution systems, performing preventive maintenance, and sampling water quality.

The ideal candidate holds Massachusetts Grade 2 or higher Drinking Water Treatment and Distribution Operator licenses, a valid Massachusetts driver’s license, and strong reading and math skills to follow

Qualifications

• Must hold Massachusetts Drinking Water Treatment Operator license – Grade 2 or higher.
• Must hold Massachusetts Drinking Water Distribution Operator license – Grade 2 or higher.
• Cross Connection Testing/Surveyor license preferred.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
• Basic reading of technical instructions and basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain municipal and/or private drinking water treatment and distribution systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of treatment equipment.
• Conduct water quality sampling and testing.
